The Gespe’gewaq Mi’gmaq Resource Council and the New Brunswick Environmental Network (NBEN) partnered together to host a Sea-Level Rise workshop in Eel River Bar. The workshop was held on Thursday, August the 16th at the Aboriginal Heritage Garden. Two presentations were offered throughout the day, with the first being open to Eel River Bar community members. The evening session was open to surrounding communities. Sites predicted to be impacted by sea-level rise were shown on a map. Participants discussed areas already being impacted and addressed solutions to these areas of concern. We would like to thank everyone who attended these sessions.
