Sharing Traditional Knowledge

During the past two days, Clifford Paul, Unama’ki Institute of Natural Resources (UINR) Moose Management Coordinator was in Listuguj sharing his knowledge on Netugulimg and Etuaptmumg, with the GMRC staff. Netugulimg is principle of using gifts provided by the creator for the self-support and well-being of the community without jepordizing the integrity of the environment. Etuaptmumg is the concept of two-eyed seeing, which uses both Indigenous knowledge and western science together. GMRC’s Executive Director John Murvin Vicaire and staff would like to thank Clifford for sharing these important teachings.
