Description

The purpose of this project is to observe the presence American eel both upstream and downstream of the Nepisiguit Falls Generating Station (NFGS) on the Nepisiguit River, mainly in the upstream portion. This will determine whether or not the Nepisiguit Falls presents a barrier to American eel migration from the Sargasso Sea.

The project will work in coordination with Stantec Consulting Ltd. and Pabineau First Nation.
